Welcome to PawsyPetz. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PawsyPetz mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use PawsyPetz. If you use the Service on behalf of another person, you represent that you have authority to do so.
2. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and notify us promptly of unauthorized access at support@pawsypetz.com.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use PawsyPetz only for lawful purposes. You will not:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to access another user's account or data without permission
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its security features
- Upload malicious code or content that infringes others' rights
- Reverse engineer or misuse the app except as permitted by law
4. Pet health information disclaimer
PawsyPetz helps you organize pet care information and wellness trends. It does not provide veterinary medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a licensed veterinarian for medical decisions about your pet.
5. Subscriptions and billing
PawsyPetz Premium and related in-app purchases are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment, renewal, cancellation, refunds, and billing disputes are handled under the policies of the applicable store unless otherwise required by law.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's store account settings
- Prices and features may change with notice where required

6. Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit (such as pet photos, notes, and documents). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service.
You represent that you have the rights to any content you upload and that it does not violate these Terms or applicable law.
7. Our intellectual property
PawsyPetz, including its branding, design, software, and content (excluding your content), is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
8. Account termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion as described on our Delete Account page.
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or where required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, subject to applicable data retention requirements.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PAWSYPETZ AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50, EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice as required (for example, in the app or on this page). Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your place of residence or the jurisdiction where PawsyPetz operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protections apply.
